Governance Beyond Boards Interventions
Governance Beyond Boards® Interventions

Globally, corporate governance, risk mitigation and compliance (GRC) has emerged as a discipline that needs to be thoroughly understood and effectively implemented by an organisation in order to optimally enable the achievement of its strategic direction and to guide operational conduct.

Organisations of all sizes in South Africa need to develop and apply sound GRC principles and institute high ethical values for the benefit of investors, their stakeholders and the communities in which they operate.  This two-day Intervention looks at governance, risk and compliance with a ‘new set of eyes’ and explains its basic principles and importance to all levels of the organisation, while discussing the framework and tools necessary to promote enterprise-wide awareness of its benefits and rewards.

By Popular demand Governance Beyond Boards® Intervention is now being repeated in 2012, in association with Focus Rooms who are our anchor tenants.  CGF proudly presents a two-day thought provoking Intervention about the benefits and rewards of Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance.  The Intervention is designed to introduce all functional and hierarchical levels of any organisation to the principles and values of good governance, risk and compliance.  It is also a refresher to those already familiar with these topics and those who did not attend last year’s Intervention.  Company Directors, Executive and Senior Management, Governance Officers, Compliance & Ethics Officers, Risk Management Professionals, Business leaders, Company Secretaries & Trustees.

Affordable, Essential Training

CGF provides a Corporate Governance Awareness Presentation designed to assist your management and fellow employees to understand the strategic relevance and  broader context of governance, risk and compliance.  For companies with a share-based capital, this knowledge transfer forms part of your employee induction process and is essential.

If your organisation is on top of the basics, CGF can offer its GRC Integration Presentation which shows senior management the importance of integrating Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and the importance of key role players within the organisation who are responsible for this integration.

Your organisation may be missing the strategic implication of Geopolitical Issues within its Strategy.  This riveting presentation high-lights the critical importance to factor numerous geopolitical issues within the company's broader strategy and operations.  Excluding these components could mean the demise of the company.

Invite all your employees to any one of the above presentations for a group fee of only R10,500.00 ex Vat.  Electronic presentation material is included in these special offers.

The Lapdesk Company

Under the patronage of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, The Lapdesk Company provides education infrastructure to school learners in primary and high schools in the form of portable desks. The Lapdesk Company has one simple objective: to eradicate classroom desk shortages affecting over 4 million South African school children by the year 2012 -- to date, in excess of 800,000 lapdesks have been delivered in South Africa and Africa.

The Lapdesk Company, with the Office of The Presidency (more specifically the Office of the Deputy President) is undertaking a ‘Back to School’ campaign for the period Q1 – 2010, under the guidance and support of the Office of the Deputy Presidency. The purpose of the development programme Campaign is to provide 150,000 South African school children with Lapdesks at back to school time in late January 2010.  We would be honoured if your company would be a part of this special initiative. This is an important and highly visible campaign directly in line with the Government’s strategic imperatives around education development solutions moving forward.  An effective writing surface is paramount to literacy development, and the Lapdesk is recognised as an effective solution. CGF is delighted to be a proud supporter and Value-Added Reseller of lapdesks.  See images of lapdesks above.
